Our Security Officer positions play a key role in upholding these values. We are currently hiring for a Part-Time Flex Security Officer opportunity supporting client sites throughout the NH Seacoast , including Newington, Stratham, Rochester, and Somersworth, NH . This role involves maintaining safe and secure environments, conducting regular patrols, responding to incidents, enforcing post procedures, and representing Securitas with professionalism, vigilance, and integrity across multiple locations.

Current Opening:

Part-Time Flex Officer: Open Availability (1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift including overnights and weekends)
Pay-Rate: $21.00/hourly

What is a Flex Officer?

A Flex Officer is trained to work at multiple sites and does not have one fixed schedule or location. You will be scheduled where coverage is needed most throughout the Seacoast area.

This role is ideal for someone who is dependable, adaptable, and has reliable transportation. If you prefer the same shift and same location every week, this may not be the right fit. If you value variety and consistent part-time hours, this is a great opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

Patrol and Monitoring: Regularly patrol assigned client sites to ensure the safety of employees, visitors, and property. Monitor cameras and alarms for suspicious activity. Some gate duties and occasional vehicle patrols may be required depending on the site.
Access Control: Manage and monitor access points to ensure only authorized personnel enter buildings. Check identification badges and ensure visitor logs are maintained.
Incident Response: Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms. Assist in resolving security related issues and report findings to management.
Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed logs of security activities, incidents, and observations. Prepare and submit reports as required.
Emergency Procedures: Follow all emergency procedures for evacuations, medical emergencies, and other critical situations. Work closely with local authorities when necessary.
Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all security related policies, procedures, and post orders across multiple client sites. Conduct regular security checks to identify potential risks or hazards.
Collaboration: Work closely with site staff and other security personnel to ensure a coordinated approach to safety and security.

Qualifications:

Previous security, military, or customer service experience preferred but not required
Strong communication, problem solving, and observational skills
Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergency situations effectively
Valid NH State Guard Card or ability to apply for the license will be required
Reliable transportation is required, travel between sites is part of the role
Ability to stand for extended periods, patrol facilities, and respond to emergencies
Flexible availability, including nights and weekends as required
