Roadside Assistance Technician (1099 Independent Contractor) Columbus, Ohio Pay commensurate with performance of completed jobs, averaging $900- $1400 weekly (more definitely possible) We are seeking dedicated independent contractors to join as Roadside Assistance Technicians on a 1099 basis to provide on-the-road support for motorists, performing lockouts, jump starts, tire changes, and fuel deliveries. Key Responsibilities: Respond to service calls professionally, efficiently and safely. Assess disablement and perform designated services on vehicles (e.g. battery jump, tire change, lockout, fuel delivery). Maintain your own equipment and vehicles to high standards. Ensure excellent customer service and accurate reporting. Requirements: At least 1 year of experience in automotive repair or roadside assistance. Experience with performing lockouts. (willing to train the right individual) Valid driver's license. Proof of Auto Insurance. Willingness to work flexible shifts if desired, including nights/weekendsdedication and reliability are essential. Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors. Must provide your own tools, vehicle, and all equipmentno supplies provided. Pass background check. Preferred Skills: Experience with hybrid/EV vehicles.
