Job Description
Sunshine Indoor is currently the largest franchisee of Five Iron Golf - the country's premier indoor golf and entertainment experience, with 44 locations Worldwide and many more on the way. Five Iron Golf’s core mission is to seamlessly meld golf and entertainment, and in the process make golf inclusive and accessible for all.
We are seeking a Vice President of Operations. This individual will oversee and manage all locations within the franchise group and will report directly to the CEO (Peter McCormick) and President (Alex Zega). They will work closely with the CEO and the President as their primary operator to build out the company's infrastructure, ensure profitability and help grow the company to reach its vision as a $100,000,000 venture.
Responsibilities include the following:
Directly manage Regional Directors, Regional Events Managers, General Managers, Assistant General Manager, Kitchen Managers, and Event Managers within the company and serve as your franchise groups liaison to the 5i corporate team
Oversee the preparation of business plans and initiatives to improve business management measures
Oversee all the implementation of all marketing promos, new menu items, and new operational measures aimed at increasing capacity by aiding and training the General Managers and floor staff
Lead the continual development of the location’s food, beverage, and overall guest experience
Collaborate with culinary leadership and staff to drive menu development and associated operational enhancements
Complete corrective action, where necessary, to hold team members accountable and improve future performance
Participate in the training and development of all new staff members, including new GMs and corporate positions created over time
Manage and control resources and materials to ensure quality, adequacy of supply and cost control within budgetary guidelines
Drives cost savings opportunities in conjunction with vendors and system leadership.
Manages the purchasing of inventory and capital equipment throughout the spaces in conjunction with site food and space leadership
Partner across all departments in an effort to support the team in consistent execution of all systems and processes to deliver all products and services to 5i brand standards
Support management in building a highly functional hourly team who share a common vision and values surrounding the overall sunshine indoor operation.
Foster an environment of customer service in which all team members put the guest first in every situation
Performs other duties as assigned or directed to ensure smooth operations of the service
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of multi-unit leadership experience in Hospitality
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Leadership and decision-making skills
Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
Passion for hospitality, food, and retail
Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
