About the Role
Join our team as a French Elementary Lead Teacher, where you will lead a classroom environment that engages students with our enriched curriculum, aligned with the French national standards. Responsibilities:
Manage a structured and professional classroom.
Teach curriculum based on the French national standards.
Assess and record students' progress in academic, physical, social, and emotional dimensions.
Foster a cooperative partnership with families through regular communication and involvement opportunities.
Participate in curriculum development and evaluation.
Engage in continuous professional development and collaboration with colleagues.
Skills and Experience:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Education or a related field.
Native or near-native French language proficiency.
Experience with French and American educational cultures.
Demonstrated ability to implement a variety of instructional techniques.
Effective classroom management skills.
At least two years of teaching experience, preferably in an immersion or bilingual educational setting.
Ability to engage and motivate students.
Excellent communication skills in both English and French.
Permission to work in the United States.
Ability to pass a criminal background check.
