What You’ll Do

• Provide high-quality emergency and critical care to canine and feline patients
   

• Triage and manage cases ranging from urgent to critical
   

• Diagnose and stabilize trauma, toxicities, respiratory distress, shock, and complex medical and surgery cases
   

• Perform emergency procedures and surgeries including:
   

  • GDV
     

  • Foreign bodies
     

  • C-sections
     

  • Wound repairs and urgent soft-tissue procedures
     

• Communicate clearly and compassionately with pet owners — including diagnostics and treatment plans
   

• Work collaboratively with a skilled overnight technician team
   

• Maintain thorough, efficient medical records
   

Interest in exotics or bone surgery is a plus but not required.

Who We’re Looking For

• DVM or equivalent from an accredited institution
   

• Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in Texas
   

• Small animal experience required
   

• Emergency or critical care experience preferred but not mandatory — we’re open to confident GPs transitioning into ER
   

• Calm under pressure, decisive, and team-oriented

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $120,000–$150,000 base salary + production (based on experience)

Schedule

• Overnight shifts, 3 shifts per week, 3 on - 4 off
