A mid-size hospital is seeking a Radiation Oncologist for locum tenens coverage.

This is an outpatient clinic with a MondayFriday schedule from 8:004:30. The practice treats an average of 15 patients per day, with CT simulations performed three days per week and a few per day, along with approximately six clinic visits and two to three consults daily. Call includes 10 days per month of ED call per bylaws, though calls are rare, and weekday call occurs during working hours. Credentialing typically takes 6090 days, with emergency privileges available if needed. The clinic uses Epic with Aria as the radiation EMR and Eclipse for treatment planning, providing 3D external beam radiation, IMRT, SBRT, and CT simulation on a single Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator. IMLC candidates are accepted with a Kentucky license, and the practice is supported by a robust onsite team including a full-time physicist, dosimetrist, radiation therapists, RN, nurse navigators, social worker, dietician, and financial services.
