Quality Control Manager

Responsibilities:

• Direct and organize technicians' day-to-day field and plant activities
• Monitor and support technicians during concrete placements at job sites
• Conduct and oversee routine air and slump testing on trucks and in plant operations
• Verify proper preparation and handling of concrete comparison cylinders in the field
• Create, maintain, and update concrete mix designs within Command QC
• Coordinate with the Lab Manager to implement and execute mix design plans
• Work alongside Sales to prepare grade-out sheets and technical submittals
• Handle customer service requests (CSRs) and relay results to the Director of Technical Services and General Manager
• Uphold concrete quality standards and ensure compliance with project specifications
• Provide timely technical assistance to customers and internal teams

Required Experience:

• High school diploma or GED
• Ready mix experience
• DOT Batch Man and DOT Technician certifications (obtained within one year of hire)
• Solid math skills (fractions, percentages, ratios, geometry, trigonometry, basic statistics)
• Proficient with basic computer applications (Word, Excel, databases, web tools)
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available)
