The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting land surveys, preparing site plans, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will possess GPS skills and have a strong interest in advanced surveying technologies.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct land surveys using GPS and other surveying equipmentPrepare and maintain accurate survey documentation and reportsAnalyze survey data to determine property boundaries and land featuresCollaborate with engineers and architects to create site plansEnsure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding land surveyingProvide guidance and support to junior surveyors and techniciansUtilize technologies such as BIM, grading, laser scanning, and layouts for accurate survey resultsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Land Surveying or a related fieldValid Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) licenseProven experience in land surveying and GPS technologyFamiliarity with BIM, grading, laser scanning, and layout techniques is a plusStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and teamwork abilities
