In this role, with unique visibility across the company and high levels of exposure to company leadership, you will support a finance Senior Director in preparing critical financial data and recommendations that enable strategic decision making at the top of the organization. You will be a manager in a team responsible for the overall financial integrity and performance of the company. The role will involve process design, data management and analysis, as well as reporting with insight. You will take a leading role building business forecasts, setting performance targets for the business unit and prepare high quality review materials for Business Unit leadership. You will be responsible for process improvements within these areas as well as regularly designing and developing solutions to ad-hoc business developments and requests from executive-level stakeholders.

Ability to work accurately at speed, develop solutions to complex challenges, and a proactive approach are critical to success.

How you will contribute
You will:

  • Manage and execute aspects of finance planning and performance management process and related financial decisions potentially including Strategic Plan and Annual Contract planning/forecasting, target development, financial performance reporting/analysis, enterprise level financial modeling and decision support for a Business unit. You will own data collection and verify data integrity.

  • Lead the commercial finance area, focused on business partnering with our marketing and sales organization on critical innovation development, media spend management, mix analysis, trade spend management and customer level P&L.

  • Ensure a strong controls and compliance environment in your area of scope and ensure full compliance with our policies

  • Assist the wider business prepare critical financial data and insight that enable perspectives for business strategies and decisions.

  • Lead projects to improve efficiencies and improvements to ways of working and embrace a mindset of continuous improvement.

  • Contribute to a high-performing Finance team. You will also invest in personal development and the development of Finance peers and drive our Finance talent agenda within the organization, with a focus on local FP&A pipeline.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration required, MBA preferred

  • 10 or more years of experience in FP&A/Finance and Financial Modelling experience

  • Prior Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) experience preferred

  • Strong technical skills required (i.e., Excel modeling)

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Strong team player who manages collaboratively with all stakeholders

  • Strong influencing and communication skills, and ability to lead informal teams

  • Ability to manage tight deadlines

  • Experience with Netsuite, SAP, Oracle Essbase preferred

  • Self-starter

  • Hybrid (bi-weekly) in East Hanover, NJ or East Moriches, NY

Salary and Benefits: The base salary range for this position is $140,300 to $192,940; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education and location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
