Physical Therapist Assistant

Pointe Coupee General Hospital has the following position available:

Position Available: Physical Therapist Assistant –

Outpatient Qualifications: Associate degree from a Physical Therapist Assistant program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).

Current unrestricted Physical Therapist Assistant license in State of Louisiana. Current BLS certification.

Physical Requirements : Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and members of the healthcare team. Ability to meet physical demands of a clinical environment, including prolonged standing, walking, bending, lifting, and assisting patients with therapeutic activities. Visual, auditory, cognitive, and emotional ability to recognize changes in a patient condition and provide safe treatment. Awareness of potential exposure to communicable diseases in a healthcare setting.

Work Schedule: Full-time or Part-time; Monday – Friday.

Clinic hours as required to meet the needs of the clinic. Flexibility a must.
