RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Drive revenue growth by executing sales strategies and motivating staff to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Monitor daily sales performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service standards are consistently met.
  • Oversee all day-to-day shop operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and consistency.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, well-stocked, and visually appealing shop environment.
  • Ensure all operational processes align with company policies and procedures.
  • Manage daily cash handling, deposits, and reconciliation to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Oversee payroll, labor scheduling, and wage controls to optimize profitability.
  • Maintain accountability for all money-handling and financial control processes.
  • Recruit, hire, onboard, train, supervise, and evaluate shop employees.
  • Provide coaching, performance feedback, and development opportunities to build a strong team.
  • Address employee concerns, conflicts, and disciplinary issues in a fair and professional manner.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable workplace culture.
  • Ensure full compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and local/state requirements.
  • Promote a safe working environment by enforcing safety procedures and conducting regular inspections.
  • Ensure all employees understand and follow safety standards and operational guidelines.
  • Manage inventory levels by ordering, receiving, recording, and tracking stock.
  • Minimize loss through accurate inventory controls and proper storage procedures.
  • Ensure the shop is adequately stocked to meet customer demand without overstocking.
  • Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and efficiently.
  • Resolve issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction and protect the company's reputation.
  • Act as an ambassador of the brand by delivering consistently positive customer experience.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or business coursework preferred
  • 3+ years of shop or operations management experience, including leading teams of 12+ employees
  • Hands-on background in manual machining and pump repair operations
  • Experience working with pump disassembly and assembly, workflows, and shop equipment
  • Strong understanding of SOPs, ERP systems, and production workflows
  • Proven ability to manage inventory, scheduling, and daily shop operations
  • Knowledge of safety standards and policy enforcement in a shop environment
  • Hands-on, team-oriented leader willing to work alongside the team and support operations across pump shops
