Experience:
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 22 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.
Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
Requirements:
Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required after submission).
This role will require floating to multiple units
Local & travel allowed. Candidates living Additional Details:
Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience: Required Skills: MS/Tele, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Respiratory, Tracheostomy care/management, Additional Skills, Administration of Chemotherapy, Screen missing requirements
Preferred Skills/Experience: Oncology experience preferred but not required
Preferred Skills: Nocturnal CPAP/BiP*
Unit/Facility Details: Mixed Acuity - PCU and MS patients
Shift & Scheduling: Shift: Day/Night or Night. If you accept a 12D/N rotating contract, you may be scheduled for days, nights, or a combination of both, depending on the departments needs. Shift assignments are reviewed every 4-week scheduling period, but changes are not guaranteed and are based on staffing priorities at that time.
Floating Requirements: Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity.
14 days maximum time off. Start assignment restriction: 7 days
1 reference from last 2 years (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission
1 reference from last 2 years (Charge/Lead reference type) - required for submission
Proof of identification required
Certifications:
BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse)
