Precast Plant Manager

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate daily production operations by assigning personnel, materials, and equipment to ensure efficient workflows while meeting quality standards, delivery timelines, and budget goals.
• Define performance expectations, track results, evaluate process flow, and resolve operational issues as they arise.
• Manage all aspects of plant personnel administration, including recruitment, training, performance management, and disciplinary actions, in accordance with company policies.
• Lead implementation of the company's safety program, ensuring full compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements. Facilitate monthly safety meetings and complete accident investigations and plant inspection reports.
• Direct plant operations to achieve profitability, quality, safety, and scheduling objectives while driving continuous improvement initiatives that enhance overall competitiveness.
• Execute operational strategies aligned with organizational goals, providing clear direction, priorities, and focus for plant staff.
• Continuously monitor operations, initiate corrective actions as needed, and ensure effective follow-up to sustain performance improvements.
• Gather and analyze operational data to identify improvement opportunities and develop systems that track productivity, performance metrics, and key operational targets.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of Production Leads, Quality Leads, and labor personnel to ensure alignment with company objectives.
• Participate in monthly business reviews, presenting updates on plant performance, goals, and progress toward objectives.

Required Qualifications/Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Five (5) years of experience in precast production processes, with production management required
• General computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office
• Legal capacity to drive a company vehicle required
• Physically able to lift to 75 pounds, occasionally
