Maintenance Electrical Technician

This is an opportunity for a safety-conscious individual to utilize their electrical and organizational skills. This position requires an individual who can work with minimal instruction and is self-motivated.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Solid working knowledge of electrical systems, including 120V, 208/240V, and 480V 3-phase power.
• Ability to read and troubleshoot using wiring schematics.
• Must be able to troubleshoot and repair machinery or mechanical equipment and make sound decisions on how to repair.
• Ensure that all safety procedures are followed during maintenance and repair activities.
• Experience with HMIs, VFDs, Vision Systems, Welding, and Press Brake equipment strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems, with proven troubleshooting and repair ability.
• Welding equipment and bridge crane maintenance experience are a plus.
• Familiarity with CMMS or other preventive maintenance programs preferred.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or in a team environment.

DESCRIPTION:

• Perform preventive maintenance on motors, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and related sub-systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and control system issues using test instruments and diagnostic tools.
• Remove and replace defective parts using appropriate tools, hoists, or cranes.
• Adjust, calibrate, and maintain control instruments and mechanical components for optimal performance.
• Minimize downtime through proactive maintenance and clear communication with production teams.
• Provide technical support and collaborate with production supervisors to schedule maintenance activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company safety standards.
