Introduction
Our client is a full-service small animal veterinary hospital with a loyal client base and a strong reputation for compassionate, high-quality care. They are currently hiring a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join a supportive, team-oriented practice focused on exceptional patient outcomes and long-term professional growth.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. This is a full-time position, with no after-hours or weekends required.
Role Description and Responsibilities
This role involves delivering comprehensive small animal veterinary care across all life stages. Clinical responsibilities include preventive and wellness care, general surgery and dentistry, diagnostics, internal medicine, pain management, emergency care, and end-of-life services. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with structured mentorship and collaboration available to support skill development. The Associate Veterinarian is expected to work confidently in a busy practice environment, communicate effectively with clients, and contribute positively to a collaborative medical team.
Practice Details
The practice provides modern, full-service veterinary care supported by contemporary diagnostics, equipment, and treatment capabilities. Services offered include wellness and preventive care, dentistry, surgery, diagnostics, boarding and daycare, senior pet care, puppy and kitten care, nutrition and behavior counseling, pain management, emergency services, and end-of-life care. Team
The hospital is staffed by three DVMs and a dedicated, experienced support team. The environment is collaborative and mentoring-focused, with a clear emphasis on teamwork, communication, and shared success in delivering outstanding patient care.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
