The HCS Group is a leading provider of mobile diagnostic imaging services, and we are seeking a Full-Time Medical Front Desk Receptionist to join our freestanding outpatient imaging facility in Fenton, Michigan.

Schedule

  • Full-Time, On-Site
  • Monday – Friday, weekends as needed
  • Availability required between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM

About the Role

The Medical Front Desk Receptionist plays a vital role in the daily operations of our imaging center. This position is responsible for patient scheduling, insurance verification, and serving as the primary point of contact for patients, referring physician offices, and staff.

Our receptionists are the first impression of the imaging center and are expected to provide compassionate, professional, and empathetic service to every patient.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist patients in person and over the phone
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate daily workflows
  • Communicate professionally with referring physician offices
  • Verify insurance coverage and patient out-of-pocket expenses
  • Answer phone calls courteously and efficiently
  • Maintain accurate patient documentation
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality standards
  • Support staff, providers, and visitors as needed
  • Manage office inventory, supplies, and equipment scheduling
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Receptionist in a radiology clinic or physician office preferred
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology and insurance verification
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work calmly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • High attention to detail and discretion with sensitive information
  • Reliable, punctual, and patient-focused
