Terminal Operations Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a Terminal Operations Manager to assign and direct all work performed in the branch and supervise all areas of operation. This role involves managing staff, fostering a positive environment, ensuring customer satisfaction, and proper branch operations. The ideal candidate will have a hands-on approach and be committed to expanding and succeeding in the business by implementing strategies that increase productivity, efficiency, and sales.

Responsibilities

• Manage the dispatch schedule and driver-related duties.
• Provide training, coaching, and motivation to branch operations employees.
• Identify areas for improvement and provide solutions.
• Address customer and employee satisfaction issues promptly.
• Adhere to high ethical standards and comply with all regulations and applicable laws.
• Network to enhance the presence and reputation of the branch and company.

Skills

• Management experience, preferably in construction, equipment, liquid bulk, or transportation fields.
• Knowledge of modern management techniques and best practices.
• Ability to collaborate with upper sales management to meet sales targets and production goals.
• Familiarity with industry rules and regulations.
• Excellent organizational skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Compensation: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
