Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing comprehensive veterinary care for dogs and cats and is currently hiring an Associate Veterinarian. The practice focuses on delivering high-quality medicine in a collaborative environment where compassion, professionalism, and medical excellence are central to patient and client care. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.
Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position. The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The practice is closed on Sundays. A veterinarian is on-site from opening until closing each day, ensuring consistent coverage and collaboration during operating hours.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will play a key role in delivering comprehensive patient care. Daily responsibilities include building lasting relationships with clients and their pets, leading patient care from diagnosis through treatment, and practicing medicine with the freedom to uphold high clinical standards. The role also involves educating and empowering clients by clearly communicating findings and treatment plans, as well as collaborating closely with a supportive paraprofessional team to contribute to a positive hospital culture. This opportunity is suitable for both experienced veterinarians and new graduates seeking a supportive environment to grow their skills.
Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with in-house blood and laboratory testing, X-rays, tonometry, and ultrasound to support a wide range of diagnostic and treatment needs. Services provided include wellness and prevention care, testing and diagnostics, advanced care, surgical procedures, urgent care during operating hours, and laser therapy. The practice operates as a full-service general practice and is designed to support high-quality, comprehensive veterinary medicine.
Team
The team currently includes one DVM working alongside a supportive staff in a collaborative environment. The practice culture emphasizes teamwork, leadership at all levels, and ongoing professional growth, with strong case collaboration available throughout the day.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
