Role Description and Responsibilities
The Hospital Medical Leader will provide high-quality patient care through physical examinations, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases, alongside preventive care tailored to each patient's needs. Responsibilities include performing both routine and complex surgical procedures such as spays, neuters, abdominal explanatories, and mass removals, as well as comprehensive dental work including examinations, radiographs, and extractions. This role also involves developing and overseeing medical protocols, mentoring and supporting associate veterinarians and paraprofessionals, and ensuring adherence to hospital standards and best practices. The Hospital Medical Leader will work closely with the Area Medical Director and hospital management team to uphold quality of care, drive clinical consistency, and foster a collaborative and positive team environment. This position is suited to experienced veterinarians with proven leadership ability.

The hospital is equipped with advanced diagnostic and surgical technology including ultrasound in every hospital, heated hydraulic surgery tables, and DDXR equipment. It offers a wide range of services encompassing wellness, diagnostics, surgery, and dentistry. Team
The Hospital Medical Leader will oversee and collaborate with a dedicated team of veterinarians and paraprofessionals who are encouraged to expand their expertise in dentistry, nutrition, and other special interests. Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
