Associate Veterinarian

Introduction
Our client is a small animal hospital in York, PA, seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its thriving and long-standing practice. The hospital provides high quality, progressive, and individualized medical care for its patients. This role is ideal for a compassionate, friendly, and team-oriented veterinarian looking to grow within a supportive environment.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and on Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. It is closed on Sunday.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will examine animals to assess health and diagnose problems, treat and dress wounds, perform surgery, test for and vaccinate against diseases, operate medical equipment such as x-ray machines, advise owners on general care and medical conditions, prescribe medication, and work collaboratively with the team to provide high quality care. The role is open to all experience levels, including new graduates seeking mentorship.

Practice Details
The hospital practices progressive, individualized medicine supported by advanced medical and diagnostic tools. It offers a full range of services, including medical services, wellness and vaccination programs, surgical services, end of life care, nutritional guidance, microchipping, and an in-house pharmacy.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
