Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing personalized veterinary care for dogs and cats and is currently hiring an Associate Veterinarian. The practice is centered on individualized medicine, with a strong emphasis on client education and collaborative conversations that support thoughtful, tailored care plans. The hospital has earned the trust of its local community through compassionate service and high clinical standards, creating an environment where veterinarians can treat pets like family and practice medicine at a high level. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position. The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The practice is closed on Sundays. The schedule provides consistent daytime hours with weekend coverage limited to Saturdays.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for building lasting relationships with clients and their pets, serving as a trusted partner throughout a pet's lifetime of care. The role includes leading patient care from diagnosis through treatment while practicing medicine with the autonomy to uphold high clinical standards. Clear communication is essential, with a focus on educating and empowering clients to make informed decisions about their pet's health. Collaboration is a key component of the role, working closely with a supportive paraprofessional team and contributing to a positive hospital culture. The position is suitable for both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with blood and laboratory testing, electrocardiogram (EKG), endoscopy, veterinary radiology (X-rays), tonometry, and ultrasound to support a wide range of diagnostic and treatment needs. Services offered include wellness and prevention, testing and diagnostics, advanced care, surgical procedures, urgent care, behavior therapy, endocrinology, health certificates, and laser therapy. The practice operates as a full-service hospital focused on delivering comprehensive and up-to-date veterinary medicine.

Team
The veterinary team consists of two DVMs supported by one registered veterinary technician and additional support staff. The environment is collaborative and growth-oriented, with a culture that values mentorship, shared learning, and teamwork to support both high-quality patient care and professional development.

Candidate Requirements

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
