Veterinary Assistant

Athens Regional Veterinary Services  is a compassionate, fast-paced veterinary clinic dedicated to providing high-quality care for pets and exceptional service to their owners. We are a supportive, team-oriented practice looking for a motivated Veterinary Assistant to join our growing team.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians and technicians during exams and procedures
• Safely handle and restrain animals
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain cleanliness and sanitation
• Collect patient histories and support client communication
• Assist with basic laboratory procedures and diagnostics
• Administer medications under supervision
• Support front-desk duties as needed

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Veterinary Assistant preferred (but willing to train the right candidate)
• Passion for animal care and client service
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Comfortable handling animals of various sizes and temperaments
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
