Quality Control Supervisor

Responsibilities:

• Conduct pre-pour inspections of forms, reinforcement steel, and inserts to ensure efficient workflow and compliance with specifications.
• Identify opportunities to enhance materials, processes, and product quality.
• Test and inspect materials and products at multiple stages of production to maintain quality standards.
• Document, report, and communicate quality issues to production teams and the QA manager.
• Interpret product layouts, engineering blueprints, schematic diagrams, and formula mixes accurately.
• Collaborate with the batch plant daily to monitor mixed performance and make necessary adjustments.
• Organize, prepare, and maintain documentation for accurate data entry.
• Enter and verify data in database systems to ensure integrity and accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve data discrepancies and gather additional information for incomplete documentation.
• Supervise QC technicians, providing guidance, oversight, and support.
• Manage a variety of administrative tasks to support quality control operations.
• Actively pursue skill development and apply new knowledge to improve team performance.
• Support cross-department initiatives and provide assistance where needed.
• Make informed, sometimes challenging decisions to uphold quality and safety standards.
• Utilize formal problem-solving strategies and collaborative approaches to address issues.
• Deliver safety, quality, and training presentations, including PowerPoint sessions, to teams.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Quality Assurance or a related field is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
• ACI or MCA Level 1 certification preferred but not required.
• Minimum of 1 year of quality control experience in construction, precast, or building products manufacturing.
• Thrive in fast-paced, dynamic work settings.
• Highly detail-oriented with the ability to detect subtle differences in products and processes to ensure compliance with standards.
• Skilled at managing multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining efficiency and quality.
• Proficient with basic computer software and quick to learn new systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
• Legal work authorization in the United States-Sponsorship will not be provided for this role.
