General Practice Veterinarian (Associate Veterinarian)

Introduction
Our client is a hospital with a passionate, close-knit team that has been proudly serving the Greater Lansing area for over 70 years with compassion and purpose. They are currently seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their dedicated practice, which focuses on providing care to cats and dogs.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Wednesday and Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. It is closed on Sundays. The schedule is open to flexible arrangements, and both full-time and part-time roles are available.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for providing comprehensive general practice services, including surgery, dentistry, wellness care, and internal medicine. The role is open to both experienced veterinarians and recent graduates, with a supportive environment ready to accommodate a range of skill levels.

Practice Details
This is a well-equipped hospital offering state-of-the-art equipment and a wide range of services, including routine wellness care, surgical procedures, emergency care during business hours, ultrasound, laser therapy, and grief support. The practice handles a varied caseload and is committed to excellence in patient care across all service areas.

Team
The hospital is home to a team of six DVMs and an experienced, collaborative support staff. The environment fosters teamwork and mentorship, making it a welcoming setting for both new and experienced veterinarians.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
