Associate Veterinarian

Introduction
Our client is a full-service veterinary hospital caring for pets, livestock, and even the occasional zoo animal since 1973, and they are seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This role supports a diverse and engaging caseload across multiple species, providing an exciting opportunity for a veterinarian who enjoys variety in their clinical work.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, on Saturdays from 8 AM to 12 PM, and is closed on Sundays. The schedule for doctors is open to discussion, and the position may be offered on a full-time or part-time basis depending on the candidate's preference.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for the full scope of general practice responsibilities, supporting a wide range of clinical needs for pets, livestock, and occasional zoo species. The hospital welcomes both experienced veterinarians and new graduates for this position.

Practice Details
This hospital operates as a full-service veterinary facility and offers a broad range of general practice services. It is well equipped with a hydraulic cattle chute, an in-house IDEXX laboratory, digital and portable x-ray, a brand-new ultrasound, and digital dental x-ray. The caseload is varied across small animals, large animals, and occasional zoo species, supported by strong infrastructure and a supportive clinical environment.

Team
The team includes two DVMs working alongside a brilliant group of support staff, creating a collaborative and well-supported clinical environment.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
