Service Technician

Responsibilities:

• Manage installation, service, repair, and maintenance of production and laboratory furnace systems.
• Lead and support service technicians, including scheduling, field assignments, and on-site service calls.
• Provide advanced electrical and mechanical troubleshooting support remotely and in the field.
• Develop preventive maintenance programs and standardized service procedures.
• Train and mentor service staff on equipment, safety, and customer service best practices.
• Coordinate with engineering, production, and quality teams to address field issues and drive improvements.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and company standards.
• Maintain strong customer relationships through professional communication and follow-up.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites (domestic and international) as required.

Required Experience:

• Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of five years of hands-on equipment service experience, with at least two years in a supervisory or leadership role preferred.
• Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer.
• Capable of lifting and carrying items weighing up to 30 pounds as needed.
