Screw Machine Operator

Responsibilities:

• Observe and interpret blueprints to ensure all dimensions and specifications meet quality standards.
• Operate at least two multi-spindle screw machines, maintaining high-quality output and meeting production targets.
• Sharpen and maintain cutting tools, including cut-off blades, form tools, shave tools, and drills.
• Monitor and maintain proper machine fluid levels.
• Analyze and act on quality data from SPC (Statistical Process Control) charts.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work area.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned to support production and operational goals.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of blueprints and gaging.
• Prior experience operating multi-spindle screw machines.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs repetitively.
• Must be able to lift to 80 lbs occasionally.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to maintain great attendance.
• Legal work authorization in the United States-Sponsorship will not be provided for this role.

Salary: $18.70-$28.28/hr DOE
