Our client is a small animal veterinary hospital that is currently seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its established and supportive team. Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, with additional hours on Saturdays from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm, and the practice is closed on Sundays. The role is open to both full-time and part-time veterinarians, with flexibility available to discuss scheduling preferences. This structure offers a balanced workload while supporting continuity of patient care.
Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive general practice veterinary care across a varied caseload. Your day-to-day duties will include performing thorough patient examinations and medical work-ups, carrying out diagnostic procedures, performing surgical interventions, and managing pharmacy-related responsibilities. You will work closely with a collaborative clinical team to provide high-quality medical, surgical, and preventative care.

The hospital is fully equipped to provide a high standard of veterinary care, with access to modern diagnostic tools including radiology and additional advanced equipment. The practice offers a wide range of services, including wellness and preventative care, dentistry, surgery, internal medicine, and urgent care, allowing veterinarians to engage in diverse and rewarding clinical work. The clinic environment is designed to support efficient workflows while maintaining a positive and patient-focused culture.
Team
The Associate Veterinarian will join a collaborative team of three DVMs who value teamwork, communication, and shared clinical decision-making. You will work alongside a brilliant group of experienced technicians and support staff and collaborate closely with the Hospital Manager and Regional Manager to ensure excellent patient care and smooth daily operations. This strong support structure allows veterinarians to focus on medicine while feeling fully supported both clinically and professionally.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
