Are you a passionate individual looking to make a difference? Smyth Companies is seeking a talented and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team in Minneapolis, MN. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our equipment is in top working order to deliver outstanding service to our clients.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Repairing machinery, including electro-mechanical equipment, motion controls, motors, pneumatic systems, pumps.
• Ensuring efficient operation of machinery and support equipment, including mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical.
• Locating sources of issues by observing equipment in operation; troubleshooting for issues; using precision measuring and testing instruments.
• Assisting with the maintenance of inventory records and replenishment of machine parts, tools, and maintenance supplies.
• Working safely. Abiding by and promoting established safety policies and procedures. Identifying and following-up on unsafe conditions.

Required Skills:

• Ability to think through the mechanical and electrical aspects of machinery operations and decision-making
• Capability to read electrical and mechanical drawings for troubleshooting of the electro-mechanical systems
• Effective time management skills to meet deadlines on multiple long- and short-term projects
• Communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with a diverse group of people and personalities
• Ability to provide high levels of customer service, responding promptly and thoroughly to the inquiries of internal customers
• Thorough knowledge of maintenance procedures

Salary and Benefits:
