This is a management role reporting to the Director of Operations , Jasper Lodging for the Banff Jasper Collection. The Hotel Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations on site at Pyramid Lake Lodge.

Directly oversee front office and resort services operations while working together with Director of Facilities, Director of F&B, Executive Housekeeper to ensure cohesive approach to elevating the experience. Examples include:
Attention to detail on Total Guest Journey
Championing Hospitality Excellence
Ensuring flawless physical presentation (interior, exterior, landscaping etc.)
Collaborate with peers in the development of the hotel's strategic plan, business plan and play a key role in the implementation and adjustment of plans
Assist in the management and development of capital projects and renovations from an operational viewpoint, as well as the implementation plan. Communicate with the Director of Operations on any urgent needs or deficiencies that require attention.
Champion effective use of maintenance management software Limble for all team members.
Ensure financial outlooks for the hotel are at or above plan, working with division/department heads on proactively responding to business trends and challenges to meet or exceed hotel targets.
Work with all operations to ensure exceptional guest experience, evaluating where and when processes, procedures or policy improvements may be effective; solution-based approach and asset to success.
Act as a representative for the Hotel with our key business partners, developing new partnerships and maintaining relationships for best business outcomes and community relations
Act as a guide and a role model for all members of our team to ensure the processes, procedures and standards are consistently delivered
Conduct weekly room inspections and monthly property inspections.
Manage relationships with internal & external guests to understand short- and long-term needs, develop strategies, manage expectations and assess the level of satisfaction with services provided
Proactively manage expectations staff have in regard to scheduling and labor management
Confident decision making based on research and trends an asset to this role
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
3-5 years' experience participating strategically and operationally at a Management level
A leader in your field, your experience would preferably include a strong background in Front Office and extensive rooms division experience
An innovative thinker who provides solutions to ensure support of guest and employee needs
Proven team-builder with outstanding motivational skills and coaching ability
High degree of attention to detail and professionalism
Demonstrated commitment to finding new and better ways of working by applying learning, feedback and experience
Results oriented with the ability to be flexible
Energetic, enthusiastic and self-motivated and prepared to exceed our guest and employee expectations
Post-Secondary diploma/degree in Hospitality Management or related discipline preferred but not mandatory based on experience
