Regional Director of Plant Operations

We are seeking a Regional Director of Plant Operations (RDPO) to oversee plant operations across a growing, multi-state senior living portfolio.

This is a high-impact leadership role for a facilities professional who thrives on accountability, systems, and solving complex operational challenges at scale.

The Opportunity

As RDPO, you will be the single point of accountability for plant operations across 20+ Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care communities, partnering closely with Operations, Finance, Development, and ownership groups. Youll bring structure, consistency, and calm to facilities operationsreducing noise, improving readiness, and protecting our communities and residents.

This role is designed to grow with the organization and offers meaningful influence over standards, systems, and long-term outcomes.

What Youll Do

• Regional leadership for all facilities and plant operations activities
• Oversight of building systems, preventive maintenance, and life-safety readiness
• Direct leadership, training, and support of on-site Maintenance Directors
• Proactive issue triage and resolutionbefore problems escalate
• Facilities systems and data integrity (Yardi, TELS, Energy Star, utilities & ESG platforms)
• Routine CapEx coordination, reporting, and partner documentation
• ESG, utility management, and sustainability reporting
• Targeted site visits, mock surveys, and operational audits to reduce risk

Key Qualifications

• A bachelors degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or similar
• 35+ years of progressive, multi-site facilities or plant operations experience
• Experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or similarly regulated environments
• Deep understanding of building systems, preventive maintenance, and CapEx coordination
• Comfort leading through systems, data, and standards
• Willingness to travel regularly within the region
