Veterinary Tech

We are currently looking for a Veterinary Technician. The candidates should have good customer service skills and work well with others. A working knowledge of IV catheter placement, vaccinations, radiology and being able to take vitals plus obtain history on animals is required.

Job requirements

• Ability to work on your feet all day long.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to multi-task
• Legible Handwriting
• Ability to pass a drug test
• Act as the extra eyes, ears and hands for the veterinarians and clinic to ensure the best quality pet care and to maximize the veterinarian's and clinics productivity.
• Communicate with veterinarian, veterinary technicians and all other associates to maintain the flow of patients.
• Provide professional, efficient and exceptional service at all times.
• Educate clients about preventive care, pet health needs, hospital services and other issues.
• Ensure the safety of pets, clients and associates
• Job duties as assigned

Working Conditions

• Ability to be confident around pets (i.e., dogs & cats)
• Ability to lift, carry and move up to 65 pounds.
• Must be at least 18 years old to perform duties involving radiography (x-ray) and exposure to radioactive substances.
• We are closed on the weekends.

Salary is commensurate with experience.
