Deputy Plant Manager

Our client, a leading automotive manufacturing organization, is seeking a Deputy Plant Manager to join their team. As a Deputy Plant Manager, you will be part of the operations support team, contributing to continuous improvement and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Spring Hill, Tennessee 37174

Pay Range: $130,000 - $181,000 yearly

What's the Job?

• Drive continuous and breakthrough improvements through plant priorities and resources aligned with strategic business targets.
• Support and intervene in neighboring plants requiring assistance to ensure operational consistency.
• Take over Plant Managers responsibilities when the General Manager is unavailable, ensuring seamless plant operations.
• Ensure safety of all employees and maintain a secure working environment.
• Manage customer satisfaction by overseeing quality and delivery performance.

What's Needed?

• Bachelors Degree required!
• Proven experience in production management within an industrial environment.
• 3-10 years of industry experience - seeking someone more junior to grow in the role eventually to Plant Manager (someone more junior).
• Tier-1 Automotive manufacturing experience required!
• Assembly / stamping or Injection molding (bonus but not mandatory)
