Surgical and Restorative Assistant

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Surgical and Restorative Assistant to join our growing dental practice OneSolution Dental Implants Centers. This role supports the clinical team by delivering high-quality patient care, maintaining a safe and organized clinical environment, and ensuring efficient daily operations. The ideal candidate is dependable, professional, and passionate about patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up operatories for surgical and operative procedures
• Efficiently turn over rooms between patients
• Greet, seat, and comfort patients; obtain required consents
• Stock and restock operatories with instruments and supplies
• Sterilize instruments and operatories in compliance with OSHA and CDC standards
• Monitor schedule changes and procedure flow to prioritize tasks
• Take and scan dental radiographs using office equipment
• Complete accurate and timely clinical charting
• Assist dentists during surgical and general dental procedures
• Perform laboratory tasks, including pouring models and fabricating whitening trays
• Prepare and submit cases to dental labs, ensuring accurate documentation and turnaround times
• Maintain active CPR certification
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Dentist or Practice Administrator

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Graduation from a dental assisting program or equivalent on-the-job training
• X-ray certification
• Active CPR certification

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of dental assisting experience
• Surgical experience
