dental assistant

Essential Functions:

1) Preparing and maintaining treatment rooms and equipment including cleaning and sterilizing indtruments andburs, setting up trays and cleaning treatment rooms

2) Assisting the dentist in the treatment of patients

3) Taking Xrays

4) Charting treatment plans

5) Preparing impressions and/or models and coordinating all aspects of lab cases

6) maintaining stocks of all treatment rooms

7) representing the practice in a professional manner, focusing on the needs of the patient

8) working respectively and cooeratively with management, co-workers, patients and vendors

9) Handling any other duties assigned

10) Must be willing to learn as dentistry is always advancing
