We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Quality Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will apply their broad knowledge of engineering principles and practices to lead projects, document work effectively, and support continuous improvement initiatives. This role involves working cross-functionally on various projects and initiatives, and includes maintaining procedures, work instructions, and training materials to support a specific technical area.
Responsibilities- Apply broad knowledge of engineering principles and practices in a specific technical area.
- Lead projects as assigned by the engineering manager.
- Document work effectively and present results to internal cross-functional groups.
- Develop and maintain procedures, work instructions, and training materials to support the technical area.
- Work cross-functionally on projects and initiatives.
- Apply problem-solving, SPC, and other engineering fundamentals to support investigations.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, including safety and environmental improvements.
- Engage in technical discussions with suppliers and customers in a specific technical area of focus.
- Understand and adhere to all safety requirements and communicate identified risks to leadership, assisting in resolution.
- Complete all 5S (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain) standards to maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.

- 2-5 years of experience within a Quality Engineer role

- Computer literacy required
This position offers a mix of on-floor and off-floor work. The work schedule is 1st shift, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
