Job Title: Instructional Designer
Location: Remote

Duration of assignment: 2 months

Position Summary
The Instructional Designer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing engaging learning experiences that meet organizational goals and learner needs. This role involves collaborating with subject matter experts (SMEs), analyzing training requirements, and applying instructional design best practices to create effective, scalable learning solutions across various delivery modalities.

Key Responsibilities
Learning Needs Analysis
Conduct needs assessments to identify knowledge gaps and performance improvement opportunities.
Define learning objectives aligned with business goals.
Instructional Design & Development

Apply adult learning theory, instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM, etc.), and eLearning best practices to create training content.
Develop curriculum, storyboards, scripts, and assessment tools.
Design and produce multimedia learning materials, including eLearning modules, instructor-led training guides, job aids, and videos.
Collaboration & Project Management

Partner with SMEs, trainers, and stakeholders to ensure accuracy and relevance of content.
Manage multiple projects, timelines, and deliverables.

Technology & Tools
Utilize authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia) and LMS platforms for course deployment.
Ensure accessibility compliance (WCAG, Section 508).
Evaluation & Continuous Improvement

Measure training effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and performance metrics.
Revise content based on learner feedback and business changes.

Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Training & Development, or related field.
3+ years of experience in instructional design or learning development.
Proficiency with eLearning authoring tools and LMS administration.
Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
Excellent communication, writing, and editing skills.
