Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior ERP Instructional Designer/Developer to design, develop, and deliver engaging training solutions for a major ERP implementation project. This role will focus primarily on developing interactive WalkMe content for general ERP users, and targeted SAP EnableNow content for high-risk/high-priority HR roles whose day-to-day responsibilities are changing significantly.
EnableNow will be leveraged for HR professionals in conjunction with Instructor-Led Training (ILT) or Web-Based Training (WBT) to ensure deep understanding of new processes. WalkMe will be used to provide on-demand, in-application guidance for non-HR employees to support task completion and user adoption.
Required Skills
Proven ability to develop engaging and effective training curriculum to provide essential knowledge and enhance user adoption.
3 years of experience with major ERP systems.
Minimum of 2 years' experience with various SAP modules.
MUST HAVE: Expertise in WalkMe content creation (Smart Walk-Thrus, Launchers, ShoutOuts, SmartTips) and familiarity with SAP EnableNow development.
Expert knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Knowledge of Instructional Design Theory, ADDIE methodology, and Adult Learning Principles.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional work experience.
Strong attention to detail, excellent customer service, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Professional attitude and demeanor.
Ability to travel nationally on a weekly basis.
Preferred Skills
SAP S/4HANA project experience.
Professional services / Big 4 consulting experience.
Classroom training delivery experience.
Core Responsibilities
Design and develop WalkMe interactive guidance for non-HR ERP users to support task completion and improve adoption.
Create SAP EnableNow simulations, guided tours, and e-learning modules for high-priority HR roles, integrated with ILT and WBT programs.
Collaborate with SMEs and the internal training lead to assess training needs and define learning objectives.
Plan, design, develop, organize, write, and edit instructor-led training content and e-learning storyboards.
Conduct training needs assessments and develop course objectives based on findings.
Interview Subject Matter Experts and clients to collect necessary information for blended learning solutions.
Develop evaluation measures including knowledge checks, course evaluations, and tests.
Participate in content review, revision, and sign-off cycles.
Conduct Train-the-Trainer sessions, with potential to deliver training in later project phases.
Provide application knowledge, instructional methodology expertise, and/or industry insights.
Build and maintain strong client relationships by delivering exceptional service and exceeding expectations.
Manage project status reporting, issue identification, and problem resolution.
