Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Pediatric Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit experience.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required for submission).

This role will require floating to multiple units

Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >60 miles from facility to be submitted.

Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

24 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - Nationwide Childrens and no current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - Nationwide Childrens.

Required Skills/Experience:

2 years of CVPICU or PICU experience required.

2 years experience in a pediatric hospital (hardstop)

Arterial line management, Central line blood draw, Central Line/Implanted Line Care, PICC line management, Assist/maintain chest tube, Assist/manage intubation, BiPAP/CPAP, Care of Ventilated Patient, Care/maintenance of acute airway, End-Tidal CO2 monitoring, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Suctioning (ETT, NT), Tracheostomy care, Ventilator Management, Hemodynamic monitoring, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Continuous Sedation, IV vasopressors, Pediatric Dosage Calculations, Isolation Precautions, PICU

Preferred Skills/Experience:

Prefers close to 2 years experience.

Starting and maintaining IVs, Congenital Heart Disease/Repair, ECMO, Post Cardiac catheterization, Post cardiac surgery, Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD/RVAD), Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT), Pediatric CVICU

Required Credentials: Drivers License/State ID: Government issued photo ID.

Special Requests: You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Floating Requirements: Will float to NICU, PICU, ED, stepdown, and MS as needed. Must be willing to comply with facility float expectations. Will be given an appropriate assignment in these areas.
