Maintenance Technician

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform all service assignments safely and efficiently, minimizing labor hours while maintaining top?tier quality standards.
• Comply with all safety policies and demonstrate the physical ability to lift and move up to 70 lbs.
• Review service orders and inspect equipment through test driving, diagnostics, and troubleshooting to identify additional repairs or malfunctions.
• Notify management of non?serviceable or unsafe shop equipment to ensure a safe working environment.
• Complete service orders accurately and concisely, including computer?based documentation when required.
• Process warranty reports properly and retain, tag, and store removed parts for manufacturer return.
• Apply technical knowledge to diagnose equipment malfunctions and determine appropriate corrective actions.
• Obtain management approval before performing additional repairs beyond the original work order.
• Respond promptly to repair inquiries and provide clear communication regarding service needs.
• Perform repairs and maintenance in accordance with approved quality, safety, and efficiency standards, including proper disposal of hazardous waste.
• Maintain and invest in necessary tools to perform work at expected quality levels.
• Represent the company professionally at all times when interacting with customers, vendors, and team members.
• Safely operate and maintain proficiency with tools and equipment including creepers, pressure washers, torque wrenches, hydraulic tools, diagnostic equipment, welding tools, pneumatic and hand tools, hydraulic jacks, and computer?based testing devices.
• Participate in ongoing technical training including classes, shop meetings, and review of service bulletins.
• Conduct test drives and complete inspections to verify proper equipment operation in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
• Maintain company tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean, orderly, and safe condition.

• Deere Level 1, Level 2, or Capstone Certification preferred.
• Associate degree or technical certification from an accredited trade school preferred.

Salary Range:

$30-$37 per/hr
