Introduction
Our client is a hospital hiring for an Associate Veterinarian. The hospital is a multi-species practice providing care for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, amphibians, rabbits, and pocket pets.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm, Saturday from 8:00am to 1:00pm, and is closed on Sunday. The role is full-time and structured around a four-day work week with every other Saturday included. There are no after-hours call duties or rotations.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will deliver comprehensive veterinary care with a focus on high-quality, evidence-based medicine and strong client communication. Clinical responsibilities include wellness care, dentistry, internal medicine, surgery, and orthopedic procedures, including advanced services such as TPLO. The role also involves providing care across a diverse caseload that includes companion animals, avian species, reptiles, amphibians, rabbits, and pocket pets, while working collaboratively within a supportive, team-focused environment.
Practice Details
The hospital is a well-equipped, state-of-the-art facility offering advanced diagnostics and progressive treatment options. Equipment and infrastructure include endoscopy, laser therapy, ultrasound, radiology, and advanced orthopedic capabilities. Services offered span wellness and preventative care, dentistry, internal medicine, surgery for multiple species, emergency and critical care, acupuncture, Phovia treatments, and compassionate euthanasia services. The practice culture emphasizes collaboration, thoughtful medicine, and supportive teamwork.
Team
The team consists of five DVMs working within a skilled, supportive, and highly engaged group that values collaboration, mutual support, and a positive, team-first culture.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
