Associate Veterinarian

Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital hiring for an Associate Veterinarian. The practice is a full-service small animal clinic providing comprehensive care for dogs and cats and is seeking an experienced veterinarian to join the team on a full-time basis.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. The role is full-time, with schedule flexibility highlighted as part of the practice culture.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for delivering high-quality medical and surgical care to companion animals. Clinical duties include wellness care, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, urgent care, end-of-life care, vaccinations, prescribing medications, and client education. The role involves collaborating closely with team members to ensure a high standard of patient care and strong client relationships. This position is intended for an experienced veterinarian.

Practice Details
The hospital offers wellness care, dental care, surgical services, diagnostics, laboratory services, urgent care, end-of-life care, nutrition, pharmacy services, microchipping, and medical imaging. Equipment and facilities include four exam rooms, a dedicated surgery suite, digital X-ray, ultrasound, and a state-of-the-art in-house laboratory capable of running complete blood counts, chemistry panels, urinalysis, fecal testing, and additional diagnostics. The practice emphasizes a supportive, family-like culture with a focus on high-quality medicine, collaboration, and work-life balance.

Team
The practice currently has two DVMs. The team environment is described as collaborative and supportive, with long-term staff and a strong emphasis on teamwork and quality client care.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
