Associate Veterinarian

Introduction
Our client is a full-service hospital seeking a General Practice Veterinarian to join their team in Grayson, Kentucky. This small animal practice also offers opportunities to work with exotic pets and large animals, providing a broad clinical experience in a supportive, client-focused environment. The practice welcomes both experienced veterinarians and new graduates and is committed to fostering a strong mentorship culture.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday and Tuesday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Wednesday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. It is closed on weekends. This role is available on a full-time basis, with no weekend or after-hours requirements, promoting a healthy work-life balance.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The role involves providing comprehensive veterinary services including routine exams, internal medicine, dentistry, preventive care, geriatric care, and emergency services. There is also the opportunity to work with exotic pets and large animals. The position is open to experienced veterinarians.

Practice Details
The hospital features advanced diagnostic and treatment capabilities including digital radiography, ultrasound, in-house laboratory services, cold laser therapy, and digital dental radiography. A dedicated dental suite and on-site pharmacy support a full range of medical services. The caseload is varied, and the practice culture is collaborative and welcoming, with a strong focus on mentorship and patient care.

Team
The team consists of two DVMs and a committed support staff. The environment emphasizes collaboration, supportive leadership, and professional growth, making it well-suited for veterinarians at any stage of their career.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
