Manufacturing Quality Manager

• Experience in heavy manufacturing with welding
• Knowledge of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and Penetrant Testing (PT) preferred; training provided if needed.

Job Responsibilities:

• Devising and establishing a company's quality procedures, standards and specifications
• Set requirements for raw material or intermediate products for suppliers and monitor their compliance
• Defining quality procedures in conjunction with operating staff
• Setting up and maintaining controls and documentation procedures
• Making sure that manufacturing or production processes meet international and national standards
• Analyze production processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with quality standards
• Conduct regular audits to assess performance and identify areas of non-compliance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement corrective action
• Monitor and evaluate customer feedback to identify trends and implement necessary changes
• Provide training and guidance to employees on quality assurance processes and procedures
• Manage day-to-day operations of the QMSs and provide assistance to ensure that only product conforming to requirements is shipped to customers.
• Establish metrics and provide performance data/reports on the performance of the QMSs
• Lead lean and continuous activities in the quality department

• Bachelor's Degree
• Supplier Root Cause/Corrective Action
• Experience in heavy manufacturing with welding
• Knowledge of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and Penetrant Testing (PT) preferred; training provided if needed
• Quality Management System (QMS)
• Previous experience in a manufacturing industry
• In depth hands-on knowledge of quality systems, policies, and procedures
• Familiarity with intelligent and industrial systems
• Computer Skills: MS Office, ERP systems
• Must be able to read blueprints
• Mechanical knowledge of gears, bearings, gearboxes
• Experience in negotiating and strong internal/external communication skills
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented

Salary Range:

$90K-$100K
