Boiler Maintenance Mechanic

Responsibilities:

• Following all safety measures as required by the company.
• Monitor equipment to ensure it operates correctly.
• Perform routine maintenance such as cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting equipment for best performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair problems with boilers, pumps, motors, and control systems.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance work, repairs, and system performance.
• Respond quickly to emergencies like leaks or system failures.
• Check chlorine levels and monitor well systems.
• Test boiler and soft water systems, record results, and replace soft water tanks when needed.
• Make necessary adjustments and repairs to boilers and related units.
• Set and adjust controls for fuel feed, water levels, and steam pressure.
• Inspect boilers and surrounding areas for any issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and plumbing systems, as well as hydraulic and pneumatic principles.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex problems with boiler systems and related equipment.
• Thorough knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to boiler operation and maintenance.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending and working in confined spaces.
• Ability to communicate effectively with other technicians and supervisors.
• Maintaining detailed records of maintenance activities, gas log, repairs and system performance.

Required Qualification and Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of boiler maintenance experience
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
• Must have Excellent Communication Skills
