Akkodis is seeking a Quality Assurance Project Specialist for a Contract with a client in Columbus, OH. You will manage quality assurance projects and qualify ingredients within the supply chain to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Rate Range: $21/hour to $23/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Quality Assurance Project Specialist job responsibilities include:

  • Manage and oversee quality assurance projects related to Nutrition Science, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards.

  • Qualify ingredients within the supply chain by assessing documentation and verifying adherence to quality protocols.

  • Conduct audits of suppliers and manufacturing processes, reviewing paperwork and ensuring proper documentation.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, procurement, production) to maintain and improve quality standards.

  • Analyze quality data and generate reports on metrics, trends, and project progress for leadership review.

  • Identify and resolve quality issues during the project lifecycle, implementing corrective actions as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in nutrition science, Food Science, or a related field.

  • 3-5 years of proven experience in quality assurance, preferably within the nutrition or food industry.

  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards for ingredient qualification.

  • Experience conducting audits and managing quality assurance projects across supply chain processes.

Pay Details: $21.00 to $23.00 per hour
