Responsibilities:
- Configure routers, switches, firewalls, access points, and other network-connected devices.
- Collaborate with project managers and field technicians to facilitate project-driven equipment installs.
- Work closely with other network engineers on network designs and equipment procurement.
- Analyze network performance, troubleshoot when necessary, and provide resolutions to complex technical problems.
- Follow standard ITIL workflow for network engineering projects and adhere to network change control processes and procedures.
- Adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements such as NERC CIP.
- Demonstrate knowledge of client networks, components, and facilities to enable more efficient and comprehensive responses to projects and problems.
- Assist in planning and executing network upgrades and expansions.
- Prepare technical documentation including procedures and manuals, and provide training and mentoring, as well as work direction, to others on the team.
Essential Skills:
- Strong understanding of BGP and MPLS technologies.
- Experience configuring routers and switches as a primary job duty.
- Proficiency with Cisco and Arista vendor technologies.
- Familiarity with ServiceNOW, SecureCRT, SolarWinds, and Arista CloudVision.
This is a Permanent position based out of New Albany, OH.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $43.27 - $50.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
