Production Project Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Champion operational excellence initiatives to streamline production processes, enhance efficiency, and eliminate waste.
• Work cross-functionally with maintenance, engineering, quality, and production teams to diagnose issues and implement durable corrective actions.
• Leverage production and performance data to drive throughput improvements and support capacity expansion.
• Advance Lean manufacturing methodologies through standardized processes, robust controls, and targeted equipment upgrades.
• Lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams to deliver results on schedule and within approved budgets.
• Define, track, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure sustained achievement of operational targets.
• Strengthen workforce capability through training, coaching, and engagement in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Partner with the Plant Manager to shape operational strategies, develop budgets, and execute capital improvement plans.
• Engage in leadership development activities to support organizational effectiveness and succession planning.
• Source, document, and evaluate vendor and subcontractor bids to ensure cost-effective and compliant project execution.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required.
• 3 years' experience in manufacturing, production, or process engineering.
• Experience in plastic injection molding and Lean Manufacturing desired.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to maintain great attendance.
• Ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Legal work authorization in the United States-Sponsorship will not be provided for this role.
