Plant Maintenance Manager

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage maintenance personnel by recruiting, onboarding, training, assigning work, scheduling, coaching, and addressing performance or disciplinary matters in alignment with company policies.
• Clearly communicate expectations and objectives; plan, monitor, and evaluate individual and team performance; and provide input on compensation and development decisions.
• Drive maintenance operational excellence by supporting strategic planning initiatives and enforcing standards related to production, productivity, quality, customer service, safety, security, and environmental health.
• Assess equipment and system performance through collaboration with operations teams to identify issues, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
• Ensure reliable equipment operation by developing, implementing, and maintaining an effective preventive maintenance program, including system operation and testing.
• Oversee timely and effective repairs by managing the restoration, repair, rebuilding, or replacement of defective or inoperable equipment and components.
• Enhance system and equipment performance by analyzing performance data, identifying trends, and recommending or implementing upgrades, modifications, or expansions.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and compliant work environment by enforcing company policies and applicable regulations, and proactively addressing and escalating potential hazards.
• Prepare and present maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing operational data and performance metrics.
• Support departmental and organizational success by responding to evolving maintenance needs, collaborating cross-functionally, and assisting team members in achieving goals.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or an equivalent combination of education, certifications, and hands-on experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing maintenance.
• At least 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
