Responsibilities:

• Lead and Develop Field Teams: Foster a positive, collaborative work environment by providing clear direction and ensuring teams have the necessary tools, materials, and equipment to succeed.
• Safety and Compliance Leadership: Promote and sustain a strong safety culture by enforcing best practices and ensuring compliance with company, local, and federal regulations. Maintain clean, safe job sites by proactively identifying hazards, providing required equipment, and implementing corrective actions. Partner with safety and environmental teams to address violations and support training program administration.
• Production and Operations Management: Plan operations strategically by identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and productivity. Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute production plans that meet market demand while maximizing margins. Oversee equipment repair and maintenance with a focus on preventive and scheduled tasks. Coordinate rentals, mechanics, and third-party contractors as needed at the mine site.
• Quality Control Oversight: Ensure consistent production of high-quality aggregate by meeting all quality control specifications. Understand the impact of raw material quality on customer needs and proactively address potential issues to mitigate risk.
• Financial Oversight: Monitor operational costs to meet or exceed budget targets. Maintain responsibility for purchase orders, company credit card usage, and all plant or pit-related expenditures.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build and sustain strong working relationships through proactive communication with internal teams, cross-functional departments, vendors, and customers. Promote a culture of collaboration and teamwork to drive quality and operational efficiency.

Required Experience:

• Good working knowledge of Sand and Aggregate Mining and related Raw Materials Plant Production.
• Aggregate processing knowledge is essential. Must have strong understanding of crushing, screening, and washing equipment. Must be able to administer appropriate repairs and maximize plant throughputs while maintaining quality standards.
• Ability to ensure project safety through proactive implementation of safety requirements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills coupled with effective negotiation, planning, scheduling, and people management capabilities.
• Proven ability efficiently managing P.O.'s, Company Credit Card and all expenditures associated with the plant or pit.
• Proactively identified and resolved issues, anticipating potential challenges.
• Able to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated adaptability and sound decision-making in dynamic environments.
• Proficiently able to utilize computer systems and electronic devices (tablets, etc.). Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must possess a valid driver's license, and motor vehicle record must comply with company requirements.
• Available for flexible work hours, including nights and weekends.
• Bilingual proficiency is a plus, but not required.
